Two buttons, one question. Without Panoblu, the black area is everything outside the bridge’s view, edged by the red line: the quays, buildings and open water inside it are absent, not dimmed. Press With Panoblu and it closes to a small ring at the masthead — one mast-mounted unit covers the rest, 360°, all the time. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom, right-drag to pan.

A wheelhouse limits vision sideways as well as down, so the helm view is bounded by aperture arcs: a band of windows forward and a solid rear bulkhead, with optional side window or bridge-door slots. Open the cog to set them, move the helm eye, change the yacht’s dimensions, switch the Port Hercule harbour off, or read the measured distances and the horizontal field of vision — every line stays true metres at any scale. Reference geometry draws the arcs and the forward limit SOLAS V/22 describes alongside your settings — illustrative geometry on a generic hull, not a compliance assessment: that rests with the Administration and class, on the real vessel.
