Sailing yachts and twin-mast layouts go to the dual install system whatever the diameter. Two units fused into one interface answer the rig that a single masthead position cannot: the sail plan moves, and two positions keep the panorama complete.
What the family contains
Four items, and the mast chooses between the first three. All of them are machined to the measurement rather than adjusted on the day, which is why the survey comes first.

The housing finished to the vessel’s own RAL code, so it reads as part of the mast rather than an addition to it. Worth raising early: it carries a three-month lead time and belongs in the build schedule rather than the week before delivery.

The fitting is the part of the project that touches the vessel, so it is the part worth being precise about.
Brackets are made for the section they will sit on. That is why the measurement matters and why the survey comes before the order rather than after it.
The whole system arrives in a single housing, so the fitting is one place on the mast, one cable route and one commissioning — not a set of positions to negotiate.
The lenses sit in a ring around the housing, so where one lens sees the mast its neighbours already see past it on both sides. Seen from overhead the sectors meet all the way round.
